Babies (not the kind you're thinking of though)

My friend Susy and I went to the Bronx Zoo yesterday and saw lots of ridiculously cute baby animals along with their also cute adult counterparts. Susy and I both had been wanting to go to the zoo for a while and decided we would never be able to convince our husbands so the two of us went together instead. Neither of us being employed makes it easy for us to plan fun outings like this in the middle of the week, though it really didn't help because it was still super crowded. It took us about an hour to get to the zoo and after a little wandering around lost in the Bronx we found it. We spent about four and a half hours there and saw most of the exhibits but we were definitely worn out. I can't imagine doing the whole zoo in one day.

  1. You get to see real giraffes--I have to settle for the faux ones at Gator Golf. By the way, I loved Revit and Allen is a really good teacher.

  2. I wondered if you found foot comfort yet. NYC is def a walking town. Did you try the moleskin? Pepper wants to know if you met king Julian, from madagascar. Her garden is full of freaks!

  3. I just bought some moleskin today but I haven't tried it yet. So far I've been able to just switch shoes each day so they never rub in the same spot. Tell Pepper I didn't get to meet king Julian, I think he's at the Central Park Zoo.
